"Lost in Time" gone gold
Both versions of the Frequency 44 remix of "Lost in Time" for the upcoming "Immortal 4" CD have gone gold and are on their way to the producer. The CD will be released in 2010. This will mark the first commercial release of Frequency 44's music.

Night shift
We tried an interesting experiment this week. We've been working on some music for Paladin Studios with an extreme deadline of 16 hours. During that time we finalized two tracks to help out our friends at Paladin. Although in the end the producer of the game was very happy with the tracks, he thought they were not 100% nailing the character of the game. We proved that we can work under the hardest conditions.
Even though our two tracks are not being used in that project, we could still use them in future projects.

Wrapping up "Lost in Time"
We're currently wrapping up "Lost in Time". We tweaked the intro a little bit and we also produced a shorter radio edit version per request of the producer. We'll see which version will make it onto the final CD.

And the winner is ...
Back in July we heard about a remix competition for the title track of an Amiga port of "Final Fight" (a MOD file called "Lost in Time") for a CD project called "Immortal 4". The winner would be included on the final double album. We spent a few weeks on our remix and submitted the final contest version at the end of August.
We won that contest, so our remix will be featured on "Immortal 4", to be released early next year! The track needs some finishing touches and a proper mastering, but there is some time left before the deadline.

New Album
We're back in composing mode and currently in the very early stages of preparing a new album. There will be more news and a proper announcement once we progress further.

Misty Cove - Live
Last night, the 30th of September 2009, we had a live performance of "Misty Cove: A forest song" at the University of Regina. The performers did a great job, and the piece was well received. A little bit of background: the music was composed by Matt and featured a synchronized slideshow of photos taken by Andreas. We collaborated on the overall presentation. Stay tuned, we are hoping to get this project posted on YouTube in the near future ...
